My story

After 20 years being a successful microbiologist, I decided to pursue my true calling of creating and enjoying good food. In addition to doing something that I loved, this decision enabled me to spend more time with my lovely family since I do most of my work out of home. I have a husband, three children and two sons-in-law . In my experience, there is no greater pleasure than cooking for the people you love and watching them enjoy a scrumptious (while being heathy!) meal.

Most of my cooking skills have been developed and honed through years of practice. Spiced with family secrets passed down through the generations! Good food and cooking was an integral part of my childhood and I tried to ensure that my children experienced the same growing up. To this day my mother believes that any problem can be dealt with the right kind of food.

My passion for cooking was initially driven by my desire to ensure that my family stayed healthy while continuing to enjoy good food. However I realized, there was no reason to stop there. Everybody loves good food and everybody needs to be healthy! I teach cooking and if you dont want to cook but still want to enjoy the food I can cook for you too!.
